I guess this has become a monthly blog at this point. I really want to post more often than this but somehow, it just won't happen...

The past month has been spent mostly working and taking care of the puppy. Laika's health is improving, slowly, but it's encouraging that all this money we're throwing at the vet is actually helping. Her hair has come back some, and she's still on meds, but it's only been a month since we've had her so I can't really say we've given it everything we've got. She continues to be a very active, happy pup though, so it's very encouraging.

She got to meet the 'girls' in Mosier last weekend. Ashley, who is now 11 years old I think, didn't really have the patience for a rumbunctious pup anymore. But Bobbie and Maddie tolerated her well enough. She got to run around with no leash on and was happy as can be. She'll be spending time with the girls and grandmom again when Tim goes camping with Dad in a few weeks. I'm having a hard time thinking of leaving her with people I don't know, so I asked Mom if it's okay for her to stay there for a few days while Tim is away. She said it's fine so I won't have to worry about finding a boarding place for her.

Anyway, in other news, um, wait, there isn't other news. Well, there is one, Devon and Jason have moved once again, this time to OH. Jas starts his PhD program there this fall. And Dev is currently looking for career opportunities in the pastry industry. I wish you all the best, guys! Have fun making new memories in your new home state.
